No Updates For A While

Sorry guys. No updates for a while. There's something wrong with my own computer and well, obviously, I can't watch anime or read manga like that. -_- The computer I'm currently on is my younger sister's. *sigh*

Well, once I get back, I'll write another post.

BLEACH fillers

It seems BLEACH is heading back into fillers for a few episodes... so I'm not even going to bother reviewing it. Although so far, it seems like an interesting enough story. *Shrug*

Synopsis: Skip Beat

Since Chrysalis requested it, I'm writing a small synopsis that's in more detail than my previous one. This one is for you, Chrysalis!

I assume this is Vol 01's Cover. Although it looks
more like a magazine.

Mogami Kyoko is a plain ordinary girl who wishes nothing more than to be useful to her prince in shining armor Fuwa Shoutaro (Shou) whose dream was to become a rock star. Unfortunately, he's a cruel man and casts her aside once she's of no use to him, having realized his dreams and stole the number one spot on the Oricon Charts with his debut single. Shamed and angered, she swears vengeance upon him. The once kind, innocent, and pure Kyoko is no more. In place of her past self is one driven with determination and revenge.

There is one man in the show business that Fuwa Shoutaro hates more than anyone. That person is Tsuruga Ren, a very successful and popular actor. Kyoko in her haste to become climb up in the show business in hopes of beating Shou and making him regret throwing her aside, meets Ren who deeply disapproves of her reasoning for entering the show business. In fact, he starts hating her. However, she is determined to not let it phase her.

However, their relationship of hatred soon changes as certain memories are revealed and slowly but surely, they become friends. Still, memories from the past come back to haunt Ren. He refuses to take any further steps in pursuing Kyoko, determined to remain just friends and coworkers.

Kyoko on the other hand is also determined not to fall in love again. Her past experience with Shou has left a bad taste in her mouth when it concerns love. She refuses to be shaken by such an emotion, instead she hopes to make something of herself. Everything she has done in the past was for Shou. This time, she strives to do something for herself for once in hopes of creating a brand new Kyoko.

Naruto Shippuuden 16

Did that guy Zetsu EAT him? *stares at the last scene with morbid fascination* All these Akatsuki members are bonkers. Itachi seems the most sane out of them all, and that's not much comfort.

Anyhow, it seems Sakura finally knows some truth to the Jinchuuriki. It's very sad. Every time, the shots with Gaara having Shuukaku taken out of him show up, I feel grief well up inside me... Everything bad always happens to Gaara, like Naruto said and I can't help but agree. Why him? I know it's animated but this anime pulls at my heart strings. I can't even bear to to put up any images because I keep thinking of Gaara. -_- Naruto, please save him soon!

Back to the episode, it didn't have any action although that mechanical bird thing Chiyo-baa-sama summoned was kind of cute. Interesting jutsu. The entire episode was alright, but the no action kind of makes me frown. Naruto and Gai are both less than 100% now due to their jutsu. Kakashi is also a little scratched. Sakura hasn't done a thing so far. At least Chiyo-baa-sama sent a message.

Neji, Tenten, and Lee will probably have to take a rest soon too because Gai is out of commission for the time being. I must say I'm amazed at Neji and Tenten's growth. After all, Neji is the only one to attain the rank Jounin! Kyaaa~!! I'm a huge Neji fan girl. Rawr. I haven't seen Lee do much other than his normal Taijutsu but meh...

I've also been wondering something. If anyone can give me a plausible answer, I'll give you a cookie. ^-^

How can Lee stand on the water like he did in the previous episodes? Isn't he unable to use chakra?

Manga: Beauty Pop

I actually started reading this a few months ago and only now remembered to post about it. >>; Yes, sorry for being slow.

Category: Shoujo, School Life

The story's not exactly your classic Shoujo Manga. Or is it? I can't really tell. The main male character is a hot headed, fiery tempered guy who aims to be the top hair stylest in Japan. Oh, his name's Narumi (forgot his surname). Unfortunately, that spot's taken by one Koshiba Kiri's father. If you haven't guessed, Koshiba Kiri is the protagonist. She's a very unique protagonist to say the least. She's not exactly your ordinary clumsy school girl with no talents, or the one with all the talents and looks with a great mind. In fact, she's the type that has no motivation, is always sleepy, constantly yawning, and doesn't show any respect towards her senpai (this pisses Narumi off, not that he isn't always angry anyway). But secretly, she's a hairstyling genius. She just doesn't care, it seems.

Anyway, that about sums it up. The next time a new chapter comes out, I'll write a review for it.

Oh, and before I forget, here's a scan.

Here's the Manga Cover for Volume 01.
I'm currently up to Volume 05. By the way,
that's Koshiba Kiri.

BLEACH 126 + 127 & Naruto 14 +15 Reviews

BLEACH 126 + 127:

126: I knew Hinamori was going to be like this. The manga kind of spoiled it for me, but seeing it animated makes me kind of wish harm on Hinamori. She's so brainwashed. Argh. Another thing, I'm very glad Chad is finally getting stronger. Yay! Go Chad! He's an awesome character that's often shadowed by Ichigo's outrageous personality. This episode made me love Orihime more. She's climbing up my Favorite Characters List rather steadily. She's very amazing for a human. Her abilities if refined would be amazing.

127: Urahara totally pissed me off! The way he said it was just so ARGH! I understand that on the frontlines, Orihime would just get in the way without Tsubaki, but she could still be of aid in healing and shielding. Yes, the Arrancar know about her shielding abilities, but still! GRRR!!! Anyway, Hachi was very kind. I'm glad Orihime's cheered up a bit. Aizen though, is one creepy fuck.

This scene was so funny.

Naruto 14 + 15: Since the episodes were basically focused on one thing, I won't go seperating everything. A lot of people found it took a long time, but I think it's a good thing for the battles to be so drawn out. After all, there were two battles taking place at the same time. Gai was admittedly very cool when he beat 'Kisame'. Naruto was one hell of a powerhouse. o.o; I mean, I knew he was ridiculously powerful what with his enormous chakra reserves but wow. I didn't even think he had it in him to attack 'Itachi'. I'm in the middle of downloading episode 16 right now. I'll make a new post later after I finish watching it.

Oh, and no pictures, sorry. I kind of delete Naruto episodes after I watch them and I forgot to take screenshots before deleting them. My younger sister stores all the Naruto episodes and I store all the BLEACH.

BLEACH 125 by Dattebayo!

The last few episodes weren't that bad but it wasn't that interesting either. This episode, it was very predictable. Ichigo would of course win over Hollow Ichigo and then practically pass out from exhaustion. Bingo! It did happen!

What I found awesome was Ichigo Hollow form was about to fire off a Cero at 'Love'. Too bad he didn't get to fire it. >>; I wanted to see the Destructive power of a Cero. *sigh*

Each of the Vaizards are pretty interesting and their powers are intriguing. The many kekkai (shields) that the fat one put up were all very interesting in my mind. That chained pillar one was an especially high leveled one I remember. Too bad it broke. ^^;

Now, I'm just worried about Orihime. I actually like her character and the OP is making me nervous. -.-

Oh, and that last part of the episode about Karakura Town being the target for making that key, wasn't it obvious? xD

Naruto Shippuuden 013 by Dattebayo!

A little late to write what I thought of the episode now, but might as well anyway. I'll post some screenshots too.

First of all, I can't stop laughing at Maito Gai! He has the WORST memory ever! How can anyone forget a face like Kisame's?! I certainly wouldn't be able to! Not to mention, he met Kisame when he met Itachi! With a pair like that, it's almost unforgettable, yet Gai manages it.

Oh, and his line, "Sou ka! Sono katana - sore ga omae no buki ka??" (I see! That katana - it's your weapon, isn't it!)

If I could face fault, I would have. I commend both Tenten and Neji for not having fallen over and into the water. And Neji's line made me laugh all the harder, "Mireba wakaru." (You can tell just by looking.)

Anyway, onto Kakashi Team (plus one old hag) vs. Uchiha Itachi -- or not quite so vs. because Itachi just STOOD there while they discussed his eyes. This really isn't very normal in Naruto in my opinion. Not many enemies just stood there. I guess Itachi has the patience of a rock. During that entire conversation, I was staring at Itachi and ignoring Kakashi's speech because I already knew about it, waiting and hoping, he'd make a move and just attack. I wanted some action! Only until the end of the episode did Itachi move (sort of). I couldn't tell if he actually did move or not because it was a genjutsu.

Overall, it was an amusing and somewhat action-packed episode. Let's see some real action the next episode. ^^

Anime: Lucky Star

This anime has absolutely no plot (as far as I know) but somehow, I'm completely addicted to it. I can rewatch any of the released episodes so far twenty times and not get the least bit bored. O_O It is truly amazing and strange.

Here are a few screenshots of the Opening.

From left to right is Tsukasa, Konata, Kagami, and Miyuki. They're the main characters.

Manga - Skip Beat!

I've recently -- a few months ago, started reading Skip Beat! It's a Shoujo manga, but a good one!

The story focuses on our main character, a teenage girl by the name of Mogami Kyoko. She followed her long time love Shoutaro (known as Sho to the rest of the world) to Tokyo when he left his small home town Kyoto to make it big as a rock star. He became very successful when his debut single made it to number one on the Oricon charts.

Kyoko finds out eventually that her beloved Shou-chan was just using her which unleashes her evil unforgiving side. Her once completely kind personality takes a strange twist and plunges into darkness. She joins the show business world in order to get her revenge against him. She even goes so far as to get a complete makeover with her new resolve. But will she manage it?

Here's a manga scan I colored in of Kyoko after her make over.

It's an intriguing and comedy packed series. So far, I'm up to Volume 17, skipped a few unscanlated Volumes along the way, but whatever.
